In simple words, International SEO is the effort of localisation of your content and website in order to attract relevant local visitors in the countries you are entering. If a search engine makes a page request that isn’t served within the bot’s time limit (or that produces a server timeout response), your pages may not make it into the index at all, and will almost certainly rank very poorly (as no indexable text content has been found). At one time, directories like DMOZ were a good place to add listings and get backlinks. However, these large web directories aren’t really relevant anymore. Sites built around user interaction and sharing have made it easier to match interested groups of people up with relevant content.

SEO Makes Dollars & Sense

The two biggest algorithm changes that Google released to ward off the abuse of link building included the Panda and Penguin updates, which came out in 2011 and 2012, respectively (and received regular updates ever since). One cracked down on websites with poor quality content and the other penalized websites conducting spammy link building efforts. If your motive was only to cross link your website and that is why you have created websites, do not forget that search engines are smart. They will get to know that and will penalize you for the same. If your site is cross linked with no outside links, then you might be punished by Google. Data analysis should be the cornerstone of your SEO efforts. Assess how customers access your site, what they do when they get there, and where the primary exit points are. Many details are involved in good SEO, from the words on each page, the words used in Page Titles, H tags, internal links, alt tags, image file names, on-site content and on-site content types, consistent name, address and phone number information (NAP), social signals, local signals, citations from other sites, how fast your site loads, the presence of a SSL certificate, the sites that you link to elsewhere on the Web, the websites that link to you, and the structure, code and placement of that code on your site.

Why Not Try It Out?

Your keyword list should be a living document that you check and update at least once a month. Doing this will ensure that you are always doing keyword research and you will keep an eye on the keywords that are already ranking. One of the very first things that you need to do in order to gain success in online marketing is to establish the main keyword of your site. When you are able to do that, you can make use of it and optimize your web page with it. If possible, you can also make use of it for your domain name. A large part of the search engine optimization process starts with focus: what is your website about? You have to focus on what we sometimes call ‘top tasks’. Don’t forget to tell Google your site is mobile-proof. You can add a viewport declaration – if you’re using responsive design – or a Vary header when using dynamic serving.

Content builds brand awareness, your subject authority and expertise

If you’ve been producing content in a haphazard manner, hoping and praying that some of it eventually ranks, it’s time to buckle down and commit to a more methodical SEO content strategy for the web. The amount of time and effort spent in pushing the content and links for a Website as close to the limit of what search engines allow in their guidelines is better spent creating unique, interesting, and helpful content. If the content were really that good to begin with there would be no desire to test the guidelines to find an advantage. Google has access to all this incredible data about where people go on the Internet through Chrome and through Android. We asked an SEO Specialist, Gaz Hall, for his thoughts on the matter: "Search engines have made it clear: a vitally important part of the future of search is “rich results.”"

Start by identifying your core set of target keywords

Many marketers are now promoting that stuff like link building is dead and so on. Let me tell you, link building is not dead. If you want to improve google ranking of your webpage, you must focus on building backlinks. The more webpages use the same keyword to point to a subpage, the more signals the search engine will receive indicating that this landing page must be very relevant for this keyword. This in turn means that the page will be ranked better for this and other similar keywords. A great way to incorporate all those valuable local keywords into your website is to create valuable content. Fresh, unique content has great SEO benefits, but it will also help to establish you as a reputable, reliable and knowledgeable business. Plus, you can use it for link-building efforts and share it on social media to widen your reach there, too. A fantastic and free way to get new ideas for keywords in your niche is by using the data Google gives for each search. After you do any search in Google, you’ll find Searches related to it at the bottom. Can you use any to improve your content?
