Once you’ve done a thorough analysis of your chances to rank on a specific term, the next step is to write an amazing article and optimize it accordingly. And hit publish. Stuff every blank space in the digital world with tons of unsaturated- keywords-loaded-irrelevant or relevant content and you get a backdoor entry straight to the destination, this was the story a couple of years back, now it has changed. Now you have nothing but just good content to prove your brands worth to the search engine. Google is better at working out what a page is about, and what it should be about to satisfy the intent of a searcher. Duplicate content is your website’s worst enemy. Google is very serious about penalizing websites with duplicate content, descriptions or titles.
Are you generating results for your keyword?
Did you migrate from HTTP to HTTPS or are planning to do so? If so, it’s best to monitor after so you can gauge the impact on rankings and traffic. If you are
currently producing five articles a week that get less than 100 visits each, try creating a single keyword-targeted article each week, with more research and more value to your audience, and then actively promote this article to key influencers in your industry. If your products or services are good and you have a solid marketing strategy, you will achieve both PageRank and customers. If, on the other hand, you do anything to piss Google off, you can forget about traffic coming in via search, and I wish you the best of luck! Is your website available in different languages or country versions? Awesome! Don’t forget to notify search engines of this. The search engines will then display the content of your website in the respective country and language versions for users. This improves usability since users are immediately redirected to the desired version in the SERPs.
Creativity will take courage
A mobile strategy is not simply making minor changes to the desktop SEO strategy in hopes of making it compatible with mobile. Whenever doing a
website redesign, I think it’s so important to
reassess the purpose of each page. If you don’t learn anything
from the page, neither will your viewers!
Building out a navigation map that takes SEO into consideration
will save you a lot of heartache throughout your project! Google has several bots: Googlebot (desktop), Googlebot (mobile), Googlebot Video, Googlebot Images, Googlebot News. For most websites, the Googlebots for desktop and mobile are the most important bots. Content simply refers to the text on your homepage, your blog posts, videos you’ve produced, and any podcasts you’ve published. Focus on producing the best content you can – or pay someone to create it for you! Make it compelling, detailed, substantive, accurate and entertaining.
Missing title tags are problematic
Continually add keyword-rich content to your website to make it an authority on a particular topic. As you add more and more content to your website it will become more attractive to people seeking out information on your topic and people will be more likely to tell others about your great site. As search engine crawlers visit your site, they will keep encountering new material, which will encourage them to visit more frequently. The more frequently the search engine crawlers visit, the better. Organic SEO is a lengthy process. Not because it’s complicated to implement (though it can be), but because tracking what works versus what doesn’t requires a least a few months’ worth of results to analyze. Plus, you need numbers! Traffic. It’s tough to track what’s working if you don’t have a consistent flow of online visitors leaving digital footprints for you to analyze. Producing low-quality content as fast as you can and sending it out en masse to as many article submission sites as possible has been looked down upon for some time. Gaz Hall, from
SEO Hull, had the following to say: "It will be hard to redirect your resources to mobile if your company has been completely entrenched in optimizing its desktop SEO. Like other internet marketing strategies, success won’t happen overnight. It takes persistent and consistent work over the long-term to see substantial results."
Bylined Articles (Guest Posts) and Publishing on Third Party Sites
SEO is technical, complicated, time-consuming and potentially dangerous. A search page
provides you with more than one opportunity to put your name in front of the user. You should take advantage of this if you can. Google likes to pretend that great content, and great websites, will naturally acquire links. But for 99.999% of businesses, that’s terrible advice. Linking out is huge. Don't be a link hoard; you're going to create content, so use it to gain favor with other people. I'll go more into depth below with specific tactics on linking out, but in general, you only have something to gain when you’re linking out.
