The robots exclusion standard or robots.txt, is a standard used by websites to communicate with web crawlers and robots. It specifies which areas of the website should not be processed. Not all robots cooperate with robots.txt; namely: email harvesters, spambots, malware, and robots which scan for security vulnerabilities. Evaluating keywords for relative opportunities is still very tough. Keyword cramming is old news and will probably result in a penalty anyway So, don’t do it! Instead, focus on creating real, interesting and valuable content. There are many theories, some backed by data, that show Google uses user metrics such as bounce rate, click through rate, time on site, etc. when determining the relevancy of a piece of content to the searcher’s query.
Be ahead of the game in SEO
If you want people to hang around your site, or make the purchases, your site should load in lightning speed, otherwise the users will not even give a second thought in jumping on to your competitor’s website. As Google has become
quicker in catching webmasters who use unethical SEO practices and has implemented harsher punishments for offenders (lower rankings or banning of websites, etc.). Some companies desperate for improved search rankings have found ways to hack into the websites of competitors and implement some nasty strategies on those sites. Images, videos, slideshows and audio act as a signal of quality content to search engines… after all, you have put in the work to make your content look good and interactive! It’s important to monitor the backlinks your site is accumulating

Keyword research is still useful for example but we now know that Google doesn ’t want us to overly stuff our website with those search terms. Instead, the recommendation hovers at around 1-2% keyword density. If you write a long article and include the search term a few times, then that should be enough as long as it’s also in your code a little, or in your file name. While you can’t always
control who links to you, successful SEO often
includes promotion and outreach. This includes reaching out to other
sites, influencers, and bloggers in your industry to check out your
content and hopefully share or link to it. Stick to these good practices and you’ll be on your way to free traffic. Keyword page density is a measure of the relative frequency of the word in the text expressed as a percentage. For example, if a specific word is used 5 times on a page containing 100 words, the keyword density is 5%. If the density of a keyword is too low, the search engine will not pay much attention to it.
The key to success is balancing risk with reward and keeping a close eye on your budget. You need to KNOW how much risk you're willing to take on and how much money it'll take to get results. Link to page relevance is if the link is relevant on the page; that is to say if the link makes contextual sense on the page itself. Keep your descriptions under 150 characters to avoid a trail off (…). This shows visitors that you have intentionally put up an informative and helpful description, opposed to the randomly generated one that Google pulls for non-optimised pages. According to SEO Consultant
, Gaz Hall: "Back Links go hand in hand with Link Building and act as advertisements for your website on other websites, rather than the links on your own website, which give more traffic to other websites."
The Broken Link-Building Method
when writing for the internet, break up your paragraphs as often as possible. Lots of white space makes reading text on mobile phones a heck of a lot easier (more than half of most websites’ traffic comes from mobile), and clearly formatted articles are used as a Google ranking signal. Just by increasing your
search ranking and where your website places on Google doesn’t mean you’re going to get all of a sudden get that flood of traffic that you want. Get your website reviewed by a popular and authoritative review site. Unpaid reviews are best since they offer value to customers that are not swayed by cash incentives. When building your content,
you’ll want to include localized keywords so that the search engines know
you have offices and operate in certain locations.
