Each webpage should have a single focus keyword and be included 1-3 times naturally in the page content. Make sure it’s also included in your page title, meta description, and H1 text assuming it fits within the parameters. If it doesn’t fit well, work towards a more general keyword. Bear in mind that your keyword or phrase should be the most frequently used term in the body text of any given webpage. This is called keyword density. However you shouldn’t overuse this signal – if you stuff the copy with keywords then your text won’t be readable and Google will likely penalise you for not writing for human readers. You can no longer present less information on your mobile site than on your desktop site. Your content has to be the same on both, because, in the future, you can only rank on the information that is on your mobile page. Google has reduced the importance of keyword phrases and now places more importance on a variety of elements, appropriately called “on-page factors.” If over time your site has acquired an average of 5 links per day, and then the links suddenly start to come in at a rate of 10 per day, that could be seen as a positive ranking signal. On the other hand, if the rate of new links drops to two per day, that could be a signal that your site has become less relevant. Efficient use of content is necessary to create a positive experience for the visitor. Ideally they find what they are looking for quickly, they extract the information they need, and they take whatever actions they desire without obstruction.
